Last week we won the ‘Practice of the Year’ Award at the WAN Awards! We were up against some highly regarded practices from around the globe, so this is an incredible achievement for us.
This year’s jury were: Louis Becker, Principal Partner and Design Director at Henning Larsen Architects, Nicholas Garrison, Partner at FXFOWLE, and Eva Jiricna, Founder of Eva Jiricna Architects. The panel were looking for evidence of sustained innovation and originality across a spectrum of sectors. Here’s what they said:
“Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is a practice that creates beautiful and well-executed buildings, often on tight budgets. This is a practice to watch!”
“Strong concepts. Fine execution.”
“They have not got a large portfolio but it is balanced by an enthusiasm and inventiveness and ability to reach the highest targets. I am sure they will be moving up in a very near future.”
