Practice of the Year
WAN Awards
2 April 2018
We are incredibly proud to have won the ‘Practice of the Year’ Award at the WAN Awards!
We’ve always sought ways in which we can add value and contribute to projects beyond what is perceived to be the ‘standard’ architect’s scope. Whether working on small or large-scale projects, new-builds or refurbishments, we place emphasis on innovation, quality and buildability.
This year’s jury were: Louis Becker, Principal Partner and Design Director at Henning Larsen Architects, Nicholas Garrison, Partner at FXFOWLE, and Eva Jiricna, Founder of Eva Jiricna Architects. The panel were looking for evidence of sustained innovation and originality across a spectrum of sectors. Here’s what they said:
“Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is a practice that creates beautiful and well-executed buildings, often on tight budgets. This is a practice to watch!” Nicholas Garrison
“Strong concepts. Fine execution.” Louis Becker
“They have not got a large portfolio but it is balanced by an enthusiasm and inventiveness and ability to reach the highest targets. I am sure they will be moving up in a very near future.” Eva Jiricna
