PROMOTIONS!

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Marc Austin, Paul Avery, Aaron Down and Tom Hetherington to Associates. The four have been instrumental to Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt’s success and have more recently taken on key leadership roles within our two studios.

Marc joined the practice in 2017 with a breadth of experience across market sectors and varying project scales, having worked on several large-scale developments in both the UK and the Middle East during a period of 20 years in professional practice. Marc is currently leading on a number of residential projects, including a later living scheme in central Newbury.

Paul joined in 2017 having worked in a broad range of sectors and contexts. He has extensive knowledge of BIM, Passivhaus and passive design strategies, which encompass an interest in learning from biomimetic design. He is currently leading the design teams on a large residential estate regeneration in Wokingham.

Aaron joined the team in 2019, bringing multi-sector experience within both rural and urban contexts. Aaron is currently working on a variety of residential and mixed-use projects across London, including a 72-unit development in Haringey.

Tom joined the practice in 2018 with experience across a range of education, community and heritage sector projects. He is currently working on a mix of residential and education projects including a significant new building for Arts University
