Joe has extensive experience of projects at detailed design and site stages, assisting teams to ensure technical compliance across the studio. He understands contractor’s construction techniques and site procedures which helps deliver buildable and best value solutions for clients.
Joe carries out regular technical reviews and keeps the studio up-to-date with current developments in Building Regulations, Health & Safety, Accessibility and Security legislation. His research of materials and methods helps challenge their standard use to ensure innovation.
Joe is currently assisting with a number of residential and later living projects, ensuring the efficiency and quality of the studio’s information output by linking detailing and specification of projects to the BIM process.
He is involved with the first-year construction module at the University of Reading and has delivered a guest lecture at the University of Portsmouth, presenting the construction of The Point in Tadley to second year students.
