Marlborough College
Project on Site
25 July 2017
Works started on site at the Grade II listed Memorial Hall, Marlborough College this week. The hall had become unusable as a performing arts facility due to poor acoustics, inadequate staging and circulation. There was also limited provision of public spaces with no toilets, coat room, lobby or foyer.
We are working in collaboration with Diamond Schmitt Architects to refurbish and improve the auditorium through a series of sensitive interventions. Our aim is to create a 21st century performance space that celebrates the building’s heritage.
