We’ve had a steady intake of new team members over the last few months, as well as several notable work anniversaries and achievements, so we thought it was about time we introduce our newest recruits, and give a shout out to some of our longer standing staff members.
At the beginning of the summer, James Langham joined us as an Architectural Assistant from Arts University Bournemouth where we currently have two live projects. He is currently working on an exciting new housing scheme in Surrey. Ariadna Mejias Alvarez also joined us an Architectural Assistant, having graduated from the University of Portsmouth and previously worked in Barcelona for BIG. Both have hit the ground running and really impressed us.
At Senior Architect level, Vinay Patel joins the team in the London studio having worked in a number of leading practices on award-winning residential, educational and cultural schemes. Richard Harrison has joined us in the Basingstoke studio, having gained experience in masterplanning, placemaking and mixed-use with a focus on residential. He also has experience in education, cultural and civic projects. Most recently, we’re pleased to welcome Senior Architect Joanne Evans to the London studio. She brings a wealth of experience in new build residential and mixed-use schemes, as well as commercial refurbishments and change of use.
On the administrative front, we’ve appointed Caroline Armstrong and Tash Page. Caroline joins us as Office Manager with 25+ years experience in an office environment working for a diverse range of companies from manufacturing to finance. Working alongside Caroline, Tash Page has taken on the new challenge of Executive Assistant after seven years in teaching.
This summer marked ten years with Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt for Senior Architect Joe Misselbrook, and thirteen years with the company for Director Olly Wood. We want to take the opportunity to thank both for their hard work and dedication over the years, it really means a lot to all of the team.
Lastly, we want to extend a big congratulations to our BIM Technician, Janhavi Sanap, who recently won The Chartered Institute of Building certificate of excellence and the postgraduate construction dissertation prize – an amazing achievement, and well worthy of a special mention.
